Actually Article Kevo is not dead at all and is actively maintained, it's just a much more stable and mature project now and has less bugs so we take our time to experiment on new features and so on. As to the forum it's obviously quiet these days because a lot of people now prefer to reach us directly via the support system and open a ticket. Anyway of course I recommend using AKV as tier 1. The thing is that the user accounts and articles submitted for tier 1 should never be mixed up with tier 2s and 3s since tier 1 has to be of higher quality.

So what you do is to create a couple of user accounts specifically for submitting higher quality articles to the best sites in the list. Take note not to include too many links per article for tier 1 (one is enough for me) and basically keep the submissions 'civil'.

Then you should have plenty of other user accounts used to as tier 2 and 3 etc and this is where you may want to 'blast' it a little + index them a little. Articles used can generally be of a slightly lesser quality than those used for tier 1 links.

We basically use Kevo ourselves on a daily basis with scheduled tasks for plenty of sites and it has been working like a beast.
