Hey evereyone,
Actually Article Kevo is not dead at all and is actively maintained, it's just a much more stable and mature project now and has less bugs so we take our time to experiment on new features and so on. As to the forum it's obviously quiet these days because a lot of people now prefer to reach us directly via the support system and open a ticket. But we do respond fairly quickly to anybody reaching out to us,

I just downloaded the trial version. The result is disappointing!
There are slightly more than 2000 sites. The sign up is only slightly successful with 300+ account.
When I tried submitting the articles, there are only 35 articles submitted.
This does not seems as good as what I read from the forum.
Any advice?

The success rate should be way higher than what you're reporting, you probably have configuration or captcha issues. We update the list every month and when we issue it it includes 2000+ tested sites we could submit to, that number naturally falls with time as sites die and then we issue a new list. We're currently updating the sites list,

I noticed one problem, Name.
The software need First Name & Last name.
If I specify the First name as <surname> and Last name as <middle_name><space><last_name>
The user account will have <surname><middle_name><space><last_name><some random number>
I was able to create up to 300 account after I correct my name.
However, when I tried to submit the 1 article to various site, the result was equally disappointing, slightly less than 300.

We recommend spending some time to analyze why the results are low, we find that some people have configuration issues with their author accounts (for example you do not have to choose a first name , last name, just click on prepopulate and everythig is filled up) as well as articles (article length, title length, not including link directly in the article body ...) which immediately lower the results. Also a real captcha solver is necessary these days, as most sites work on recaptcha and a tool like captcha sniper or captcha breaker can help marginally, but you need to use a real captcha service,

Analyse why the result is low? I don't think that is very practical to do! You assume that I am an expert in your product!
There is very little or no documentation on what can be done in many aspect of your software! A lot of time is wasted in trial and error to find out what work and what do not work!
For example, in Pligg, there are about 800 site and my submission failed completely. Some of the errors were too many key words and incomplete title and so on.... I managed to figure out key words but not when the title is incomplete. Too much time wasted!
I tried finding help from your forum, but could not find answer!
It is very easy to say that I have configuration problem and we are left alone to figure out how to use your product!

Every AKV user knows we offer some of the best support in the market and if you had opened a ticket in our support system (You can find the link in our help section) we'd get back to you very fast and we sometimes go as far as having a teamviewer session with you in case of issues we can't figure out. As to "Incomplete title" and such other messages, you must know that the requirements for article submission vary from site to site and akv tries to figure out what went wrong and communicates it to you so we do expect our users to look at the results tab and modify their articles accordingly. Now if you notice something that AKV should have reported and is not doing properly, please open a ticket and report it, we'll look at it and try to include the fix in the next version,

Thanks! I dont think I am going ahead with kevo. I spend my time looking thru kevo from whatever I can find in youtube before I download the product.
7 day trial is very fast. I am not asking for more time to evaluate the product. I may come back to kevo if other products is not better than kevo.

not dead buy you need additional 300-400 $ more to use it properly
