Is anyone using the link:"any website address" command to do a quick check for backlinks to any webpage on google? I'm getting two different results with or without a space between the colon and quotation mark. I cant remember which one is correct.

The correct way would be without a space. I'm not sure how accurate the link: parameter is though. Rather use a dedicated backlink checking tool. Though, even those won't show you all the backlinks to a given site.

This link search hasn't worked in YEARS, I mean 5+ years and probably longer.

Do not pretend it works. Do not pretend it does anything.

Use a backlink checker like Ahrefs.com to look at links. Backlinkwatch is a free source and is Ahrefs for free.

this command dont work anymore but they do use to work 4 years ago , :)
