Reddit is very sensitive to patterns, so fully automated posting/commenting usually leads to short account lifespan.
Light automation (research, alerts, drafting) works fine. Actual posting and engagement tend to survive longer when done manually or semi-manually.
So yes, possible — but sustainability is the real issue.
