Anyone have any new tutorials on how GSA search engine ranker? Do any of you use it for new starter sites?

GSA can still be strong, just make sure you dont use it directly on your money site.
I dont own GSA myself but I have bought some blasts for my Tier2 properties and had decent results.

I still use it, it's a nice tool to have in your SEO arsenal. Anyways, not to be used directly on money sites. I use it for tier 3 and tier 2.

I keep it running on my VPS 24x7 for my tier 2 and 3 .. and it still gives me good results .. one of my sites ranked on page 1 with no link building .. literally 0 link building, social media links etc on it .. i only had 3 web 2's pointing to it and GSA was bombarding on these web 2's .. so i would say it still bloody works.

I use it everyday, nothing can really compare to the sheer amount of links it can build.

I'm also not going to lie, out of the box GSA is garbage and will do a lot more harm than good. Learn how to configure it and use it to build quality links and you'll be golden. I really recommend GSA forums if you want to learn more about using the software.

Yes, I am still using GSA SER. As others said, don't use it on tier 1 but on tier 2 & 3, it is amazing. It can even work on tier 1 if you know how to configure it properly.

where did you buy tier 2 blasts? did you pick contextual links only or mix like blog comments etc?

I am going to get it this month and use it for Tier 2/3 to build links to parasites

I use it on t1 for inflating referring domains, and only use it with naked links, branded anchors, and a very small amount of generic anchors. Nothing is left default. Not the way it links, not the words it uses around links, etc. I rewrite those default spin files pretty often. Haven't had any issues myself. Of course that's just a very small part of the strategy, and is not primarily what makes me rank, but you got to test different things and gather your own data to forge strategies that work.

Edit* I only use contextual targets on t1. Haven't found the guts to try anything else.

GSA SER is only suitable for tier 2 linking. Tier 1 and money site, you should use manual link building with original content or PBNs (as long as you are not caught). Not really useful in my point of view though.

Ye it's still fine. As has been covered, you'll want to keep it strictly for tier 2 and above really.

Also, keep the link velocity slow and steady in the early days.

Yes, a lot of SEOs still use it. It may be a pain to configure tho. That is where the fiverr selling come in handy :)

awesome! thank you for your inputs

I used it recently but to be totally honest found it much harder to get any ranking improvements compared to a few years ago.
I hear people are still using it successfully though so its worth a go.

You Make Me, can you PM me? You replied to a post of mine some time ago. I tried to PM you but your mailbox is full. Thanks!

to be honest GSA isn't what it used to be. good for juicing up your t1 and increasing diversity with naked brand anchors only.

Is it not harder in general to get ranking improvements compared to a few years ago, regardless of the tool you use? I don't think this is an issue with GSA, but an issue in associating GSA with easy rankings and saying it fails so its no good. Ive had people tell me its no good and then they want to buy links from other services and I can show them links with GSA that look as good as the ones they are going to buy.

The tool is only as good as its master. I think the issue here is not that its not as good because its harder to rank, the issue is its harder to rank, so you must use the tool (and all tools) differently.

I think it is as good as it used to be, but its like above, ranking isn't as easy as it used to be. You can't just load in a bunch of projects and hammer away and rank over night, but then you can't do that with any tool. Take Ranker X, if you just load in a bunch of default settings and hammer away, your not going to get rankings over night. The "times" have changed and so should the ranking approach, but GSA can still be part of that approach.

Again the tool is only as good as its master. I don't mean that in a condescending way, because its true for me too. I learn and grow every single day, I still constantly listen to business books on audio, I constantly test, and I constantly learn and grow. When you stop doing that you pretty much start losing ground immediately in this game and then its only a matter of time before it all goes south.

But anyway, GSA is still very useful, but like anything when the algos change so should your methods/strategies.

Still using GSA everyday for Tier2/3. It really helps if you have a recapcha solver and a good purchased list.

You can search in YouTube, you will get plenty of helpful videos. I have been using it for starter sites and getting results. This is not what you are using, this is how you are using your tool. GSA itself has hundreds of features, so if anyone use it without proper knowledge of SEO, he may harm his site. So GSA Search Engine Ranker should be used with proper SEO knowledge to get the best output.
