It never is pure profit, because the smartest and wealthiest learn how to leverage their wealth to produce more of it.
For a newbie, $100 a day is a good goal because it can be an income replacement for a crummy first world job, allowing you to gain your most important resource back (time) and invest that time back into your business.

A straight answer to your question is: Yes, some people are making 10k+ with IM daily, I know a few of those myself...

I would say 20-30 % profit margins.
And this is coming from a dude I know in the dating niche
So at 10k @30% that = $3k/day
at 5k @30% that = $1.5k/day
All Cpa lead generation btw.

I've never understood the see what others are earning for motivation, sure it will give you a positive feeling but this is the same as visualising your $500,000 house or $70,000 car there short positive highs.
Now don't get me wrong if someone passes on information that there earning xxxxx amounts from a particular niche that will give me the drive to go and check it out but not to start working in it i'll assess it purely on a business level and the plan becomes my drive.
I'm not at 10,000 days like most people on here but the guys who are aren't messing around with niche sites in my opinion there doing these small but very difficult steps.
1. enter the most profitable IM business/niche
2.be experienced and fully understand every single step and what they need to do to succeed
3.have a solid drive and business plan to beat everyone else.
