Is anyone here actually using Moz for keyword research?

Years have gone by and they still haven't upgraded their platform or tools besides some design changes..

I'm wondering if anyone here actually uses their keyword research tool successfully (Moz as the main tool) to run their projects.

The information I get from other sites compared to Moz is very conflicting.

Comparison:

Ahrefs monthly volume: 127 K

Moz: 300k - 1.5 Mil (How they can even give such a range? like more than a million plus-minus )

Ahrefs KD: 1

Moz: 35

Considering that both Keyword Revealer and LongTailPro have deals in Appsumo I could not care less about Moz. If you are going for something better, Semrush or Mangools KWfinder.

Moz is way in the middle: too expensive to be a huge deal like the LTDs and too poor to be even considered in the league of research quality.

I always have access to Moz because there are "cheap" sellers that give it almost for free but never found a sole utility, except for their API with Domdetailer, to check among other tools like Majestic (never alone).

Moz used to be also the king like Alexa time ago. Now Ahrefs is following their same path. In fact the only good think I like from Moz, is their blog which has been historically full of great insights.

As I'm getting off from Ahrefs due to the fees I was looking for an alternative.. You can use Moz 30 days free trials without paying anything so that was my first thought but the tool seems useless.

I use it whenever they give free review copies here, but to be honest it’s really pathetic and should either be revamped or shut down

I use moz as it's free (or almost free as mentioned above).
I mainly use it to get ranking keywords from weak sites so I know those keywords are easy to rank. As for the volume I don't believe their data, TBH, I think all tools are wrong when it comes to keyword volume.

how can we search from Moz?

Yes i use MOZ but i can't get much information as i getting from Ahref
