I have been here for a few months now and I am starting to think all people here live in a dreamworld, made BY people who want to make money from Instagram, FOR people who want to make money from Instagram.

Everyone account that belongs to someone here (the name of which they have posted themselves) that I have looked up has just been full of followers and commentors that aren't regular people (end-consumers) but rather accounts just like their. For example, if you have a fashion account, it doesn't mean anything if 30 people comment on your posts if all those commentors are accounts just like yours. None of them will ever buy anything from you.

I can understand that people here make money of each other or people outside of BHW who also want to make money of Instagram (telegram groups, shoutouts etc), and also through different click/ad programs, but IS ANYONE HERE MAKING MONEY DIRECTLY FROM THE END-CONSUMER? Like if someone own a webshop connected to their account? Please PM me your details if you do as I would love to get in contact with you and also pay for tips and directions on how to monetize in this way myself.

Nah, no one here makes money from IG, we are just ramping up those fake followers, likes and comments and selling accounts to each other.

I just started playing with IG a few weeks ago.

I connected an IG account to a store of mine. It's profitable.

I started with all manual work doing the mass follow thing. I then used a bot to follow/unfollow after I got to around 500 followers manually.

I post one pic a day on it with an almost "blog style" post. The pic/text is all very related to my industry.

I follow people following similarly related accounts. I also follow people that follow accounts that match my target demographics.

I'm not a pro at it or anything. I'm pretty green to IG. But I've made money pretty fast with the traffic from it, and I sldeinitely see the long term potential.

I doubt I could help you much but I'll try to answer any questions you have. I'm not interested in a PM or any discussions outside of here though.

I'm also aware of all of the other bs accounts on IG but what can you do about it??

P.S. Stop offering money for help unless you like getting screwed for some reason.

Majority here does BS'ing a lot.

Just look at any random topic about getting free followers and how many people jump on it....craving for those fakes, even when they are dirt cheap on the market.

I only know a few here that are making dough, so yeah, basically most are living the dream here.

A lot think to make bank overnight, but it's a tough and long road till you get the hang of it. When I started, I thougt "easy peasy, use FL, post some pics and make money", but it's a real fucking job considering the time you put in it. Also take into account the every day changing dynamics of the game and you will get grey hair earlier than you wished for.

3 months of IG equals to 1 year.

    Great reply. Thank you.

I might be in the same position as you were earlier. How many followers do you have, and how is your engagement? I am basically working with an account related to a small niche in a small market (non-english speaking countries, all combined 20 million population). I want to profit by having my followers contact me for my service/product directly in the future so they need to be real-real (not business-account owners themselves). I have reached about 1,5k followers up until now doing follow/unfollow of similar accounts with MP, engagement is quite good (around 5-10 % and out of these I would say 75 % are regular people and potential future customers) but i want to reach 10-15 %.

Right now I am just continuing doing follow/unfollow on a pretty slow rate (I follow about 200-300/day about 3 days a week, the rest I unfollow or just pause) as I don't want to risk getting banned. I post about 1 photo a day and spend around a half hour a day making sure it is a high-quality one.

However, I want to step up my game but don't know how. Will an engagement group give me more followers of the kind I need or just meaningless followers (not local people, business owners etc)? Should I follow more people a day? Is there anything else I can do?

Our numbers of followers are pretty similar.

My engagement rate is significantly higher though. I'm getting about a 20% engagement rate, and sometimes more.

Why? I'm not sure but I have some ideas:

1- A lot of posts have some "shock value". I learned this long ago when I used to play around on MySpace political blogging. Instead of being soft/cuddly/boring, I try to say something that makes people want to jump in and say something in return.

2- I think the pics are important but the text may be even more important. I almost write mini articles with each pic. They are all geared around forcing people into weighing in with their opinions.

3- I still do a good bit of manual commenting on my followers posts. I don't put a ton of thought into it (I don't have much time but I play with this when I can), but my comments can't be done with a bot. These people tend to pump up my interactions with some debates.

I don't know anything about engagement groups but I assume they are bs. But that's just an assumption because I don't know about them.

I got my first two $ paying customers from IG within the first few days of being on it. I like the possibilities a lot.

I have 2 cents for you guys:

You see the taboola ads at the end of news stories? See how their titles are a mix of Buzzfeed and TMZ?

That's what the end user wants.

OP, no none of us make any money from end users, I've been horsing around and shooting the shit for the past 20+ years. SEO is dead too.

Again, really great tips. Thank you so much.

Regarding 2 - this is exactly what I need to get better at. I have seen successful accounts with great engagement use this approach exactly. I will try to do the same.

Regarding 3 - How many manual comments a day do you do, approximately?

On 3, I can only guess. I do a few every now and then when I have a minute. Like if I pull up at a red light I will drop 1-2 comments. Complete guess? Maybe 30 comments a day??

Shopify or other e-commerce is extremely difficult to make money with. Too many bracelets (those buddah beads), necklaces, watches out there. If you're going to go with some sort of run-of-the-mill fashion item, forget it. You might lose money on the fees for the Shopify store before you're even able to sell anything.

Ads and shoutouts are the way to go, unfortunately. I swear to god though, the numbers I've read on this very forum about what you're supposed to be able to make vs what you can actually make. I've seen shit about "75k followers and $300 a month is extremely poor" no it's not, it's actually prettty realistic in most niches. Most won't even be able to make that much with a single 75k account.

I have a handful of accounts over 100k, and I do make some money, but definitely not a ton. Not even close to a ton. The past two weeks I've made $300 selling ads on my biggest account (500k). This was with ME taking action and emailing about 25 brands, getting a couple of bites, plus one brand coming to me.

You will only make a very tiny amount if you just sit back and expect brands to come to you. That only works in the 1m+ range or so. You're going to have to be active and pick up business yourself if you want to make $xxx+ a month with a smaller account.

VapeMonkey is right, it's a LOT of work. The rewards are worth it once you get a massive account or two, but there is no get rich quick in Instagram. None.

    Vouch.

There's so many people here thinking they know shit and keep talking out their asses. I only started seeing impressive results when I left BHW for a couple months and started grinding like crazy.
I was just like VapeMonkey when I started, I bought all the bots and thought I would make the money back in no time. You will never see a successful Instagrammer telling you to use bots. Go figure.

Yeah but you could combine botting (in the beginning) with powerlikes/shoutouts, no? For me it looks like a faster way to start with botting than without one.

I wonder the same. Is there a more effective way than botting to start off? I mean botting doesn't take anytime and you can still do whatever you want to increase engagement and followers by other routes?

Botting is bad. Period. Even if you're not breaking ToS per se and getting banned, it will catch up to you. Instagram does NOT like follow/unfollow methods, and almost every single account I've seen botting follow/unfollow gets limited eventually. Which means no explore, you have to keep following/unfollowing. It's a crap method, trash it and get in some Telegram like/engagement round groups.

That's pretty rare afaik. Most people fail and fail hard with OGads. But anyway, I was talking about building accounts, not churn and burn CPA accounts.

building accounts without follow-unfollow isn't possible for a complete newbie (who isn't into big groups) and say even if you are a 5k account and you're into few of those telegram groups having 1.5k users you won't see impressive growths. All those do will be like 300-400 likes to your pic with almost none going viral (unless its very clickbait one), you will mere gain +25-50 followers per day. Botting can be done for smaller accounts to breakeven if you know what you are doing. then just ditch that account and grow another baby one.

There are people here who make good money. Back in my PPC days I was apart of teams who made 10k-20k+ revenue monthly here on Blackhat. All the tools are here for you to start racking in your cash, just think big and come up with creative ways to realistically make money.
