It would be good when you work it out yourself and things which you learnt through experience will last long.
 
It shouldn't take more than 30 mins to do your on-site SEO yourself, and, you might even learn something in the process :)
 
I think you can do it yourself with the guide that you have shared but in some on page activities you will require an expert advice to complete it..

So i would just say that you have to be confident that you can do it.
 
There are lots of guides about on page seo optimization. No need to spend money to do that. Just read them carefully and do it yourself. It is not so hard as you think.:)
