Hey everyone

Is anyone here currently working on a new game and looking for ways to get more players and visibility?

I'm especially interested in hearing from indie developers and small studios who are currently considering:

Creator/influencer promotion
Paid advertising
Reaching international audiences
Getting more installs, wishlists or players

What are you currently trying, and what kind of results are you hoping to get?

For a new game I would focus on a mix of influencer outreach organic search and community promotion Paid ads can help but I would first test which channels actually bring engaged players rather than just impressions or installs

what kind of game are you developing? If it’s a popular, trending game on the market, paid ads or AI ads are a good choice. If it’s a large-scale game, I’d try Creator/influencer promotion.

Well, that really depends on the game and the target audience,With a small game, I would try out paid advertising, but for a larger launch, using creators with the appropriate audience can work better,

You can share small gameplay clips before launch. This can get people interested and help you get more wishlists.

That's a good point. I’m actually working in this area through BoomView, where we help indie developers and small studios promote their games through established gaming creators.

I agree that the right promotion channel depends a lot on the type and scale of the game.

Are you currently working on or promoting a game yourself? If so, I'd be interested to take a look and see whether creator promotion could be a good fit.
sry currently I am not working with any of these, just some my thought for getting players

As far as indie games go, I think that influencer/creator marketing could be valuable together with paid marketing particularly in case the aim is raising awareness ahead of time. It would be great to know what methods people have used to attract players.

I agree, especially for building awareness before launch.

I’m actually working in this space through BoomView, where we help indie developers and small studios connect with gaming creators for promotional campaigns.

Out of curiosity, are you currently working on an indie game or project yourself, or are you mainly interested in the marketing side?

If you’re currently working on something, feel free to share the game/project link — I’d be happy to take a look and see whether creator promotion could be useful.

The biggest challenge is finding the right audience first a campaign works much better when it reaches people who already play that genre

yeeahh i am interested in this too creator promotions and paid ads seem like good ways to reach new players and especially for indie games.
