Every affiliate offer I’m recommended by my AMs look like complete trash and perform like trash.
Have heard so much about subpar returns, and success in dropshiplimg/FBA instead.
Are affiliate offers even worth it anymore?
Talking about sweepstakes in particular, and media buying context.

Might have something interesting for you, not sure if your dms are open

The best paying affiliate programs are usually B2B.

It depends on many factors to convert or not.

Is affiliate marketing still profitable? yes if you do it the right way.

The one thing that boosted my affiliate career is completely cutting off networks and ditching all the BS account managers with their "30% CR offer".
Getting direct deals with brands is sooo much better in sooooo many ways.

I used to run offers through a ad network and for a long time I accepted that they shaved a decent amount of my traffic.
Working with ad networks is like being at the end of a human centipede. The brands shave the ad networks, the ad networks shave you.

I looked at the offers that I ran and directly contacted each one of them introducing myself as the affiliate from X network.
I would say 95% preferred to work with me directly instead of working through a network.

Results: still getting shaved but did increase ROAS.

How did you get a better ROAS? Was it because you could the middel shaver?

Yeah, I believe that in average the network shaves about 10% of the traffic and so does the brand.

So by eliminating the network it’s only the brands left that can shave and usually you can charge a brand more if you have a CPA deal than what a network would pay.

So not only did I decrease my shavings I also increased my revenue per acquisition.

Interesting. Did you create also smartlinks yourself later with different netowrks or was it always targeted offers instead which you picked and stuck to?

Always targeted offers with a great custom funnel.

The funnel is the most important part!

Imagine if I ran up to you and shoved my product in your face and said “buy this now”.
That’s basically what you’re doing if you don’t have a funnel.

You need to have that warming up process so that when the client sees the product the only thought that comes up in their minds is “I. Need. This. Now”.
Wow, you are right. Do you have experience with Smartlinks? I currently use them and they have some funnels built in
