Bing doesn't send that much traffic but raking can be easier, and I am thinking of making a website and targeting Bing search traffic.

Probably news related site can get traffic from bing

I tried bing and also yandex, but i rarely get any traffic from them

Why only Bing search traffic? Maybe optimize for it but while you're doing that you should keep in mind you can tweak for one search engine without hurting search ranks on the others...

I think someone from here did it and got some success but forgot who he is, I would say target both google and bing it’s always best to get traffic from both search engines

According to my last 3 months of search results I've got half the search results from Bing that I've got from Google and with Yahoo it was half of what I've got from Bing. Eventhough there is more first position results on Bing and sometimes I am even dominating the first 10 positions in Bing.

So if you can dominate the first results in Bing then go for it but also consider the other search engines.

I do for some sites with pretty much success for some. Still I don't find the magic formula but I have an idea about.

What are you looking for?

What is the big difference between seo for Google and for bing?

I mean, i rank for Google pretty well on some kw - and the same kW on bing is on page 2-3.

on other side, few kW that is on bing in first positions didnt rank very well on Google.

they booth working on content + backlinks. Whats the “main” difference in optimization?

I'm ranking at #1 in both bing and yahoo for my main keyword without even caring about these 2 search engines. So you don't really need to target bing cause if you optimize your site for google bing will rank you instantly and without any effort
