While trying to open a individual seller account. It appears amazon made it mandatory to have an EIN# immediately !
I originally I opened a buyer acct. A week later while trying to convert to seller account Amazon provided steps such as- credit card , phone verification , name,address, tax ID.
I called customer service they- indicated it is not mandatory to have the tax ein in the beginning- "only later"
But the Amazon website states otherwise. I am 100% sure I chose the option for individual seller....' Please advise.
