Hei,

I've often seen all the "get amazin' mega laser pin point targeted traffic to your site" ads on fiverr but as we all know its just bot traffic. And really, that's not much help to anyone.

Someone dumping 20k fake bot visitors to your site at 3am isn't really gonna do shit. So for this reason I focused my efforts elsewhere to get a bit more traction in the serps.

However, I found a website last night that looks pretty legit and wondered if anyone had tried it or knew of it. Not sure i can post the name of it without breaking any forum rules.

Just for the record i'm not affiliated with it, i don't intend to promote it etc etc.

They claim to own a bunch of websites in certain niches, casino, adult and finance and reckon they can get ur site seen by their existing customers via pop unders, domain redirection, interstitial ads or a combination of all 3.

I contacted them for some info but heard nothing back ( to be fair it was late last night so it hasnt been all that long )

Anyway has anyone had any good experiences with companies like this and can they recommend any?

Appreciate your time.

Cheers!

There are good traffic sellers but they are expensive, if someone offers 100,000 visitors for $5 then you know it's rubbish, normally bot or exchange.

This company was offering ( and this was the smallest package ) 20k for $150 in adult/casino or 20k for $100 targeted traffic

Those are high prices. $5 CPM for targeted traffic. It may be worthwile for certain niches, but you have to hit the niche on the head. What's a casino website traffic going to do for you if you have a skiing website? It might be only worth a try if they have a website in your niche.

i mean i just thought of 10 ideas related to casinos that you could use that for :)

I assume OP has already got a website of a certain niche. If it was in the casino niche, he would have mentioned it probably so I wouldn't buy anything untargeted like that.

But yeah, if he doesn't have a website yet then it's definitely possible to capitalize on that.

Yes all paid traffic is shit. If someone is guaranteeing traffic it is likely going to be bot traffic.

If they use only pop unders, domain redirection, interstitial ads then it might be ok, not great but ok. I doubt they will though. I bought from a seller here who said they use pop unders, domain redirection, interstitial ads and traffic exchanges. about 95% came from traffic exchanges which were ran by bots.

Yeah im in the casino niche and struggling on the serps, so i thought a boost of paid targeted traffic would be a good idea. Just looking for a reputable company. I dont have anything like cpm on the site. im looking for conversions really

On blackhatworld are there providers of live traffic? I have not found these in the marketplace section.

OK, think about it - if someone can send you genuine, real human traffic ... why he would do it? For example if I have "super targeted bla bla casino traffic" why I would sell it for $200 or $2000 even? Just will set up simple affiliate website and make the bank with $400-500 per registration.. Same for basically every other niche - if the traffic is real and worth something, then why anyone would sell it?

I just realized. You are not paying $100 for 20k impressions on their site, you are paying $100 for 20k visitors on YOUR site? If so, that definitely sounds too good to be true. That would have to be 6 figures of impressions on their site. Definitely doesn't seem right. It sounds shady, I wouldn't do it.

Also, do the following: Go to similarweb.com. Type in the domain name of the website. See how many monthly visitors they get. Chances are, it's going to be lower than what they promise to get you.

There is no chance at all that you will get decent traffic for a casino with $100. It's probably just got or iframed shit.

Something is shady here....i mean think about what he could do with that traffic...

Yeah that's what i'm thinking, cheers mate. You know of any decent sources i can get my hands on? would be greatly appreciated, a little nudge in the right direction.

Nothing "shady" is going on mate, just looking for some solid advice. After all isnt that what BHW is all about?

I agree with @mickyfu here. $100 will not go far with decent traffic for a casino site, especially in Tier 1 geos.

The cheapest traffic of any form of 'quality' you can buy is going to be pop traffic. You can do some reverse engineering by going to some streaming or gambling sites and see if they have popups/unders to casinos. If you then check the HTML code to find the pop link, it will tell you the pop network (PopAds/PopCash/Propeller etc.)

To give you a ball park idea - I used to buy Canadian pop traffic at $3-5 CPM. I probably spent close to $500 to get an idea of what placements/devices/times to blacklist in order to get my campaign profitable.

He meant to say the website seems shady and too good to be true, which I agree with.

But to answer your question, no, not all paid traffic is shit. The only good paid traffic is - ads. Sign up with an ad network and do it the way it's meant to be done.

Personally I just look for media buys on sports related websites. I tend to look for sites with 30k+ traffic that will do an ad for roughly £500 for six months.

Much appreciated mate. All the best!

That could be said about anything, why do businesses sell websites, social media etc. Why not set up and run hundreds of niche sites? It's known as a service, why do people write articles, why not add them to their own sites? Why do people sell seo services?Traffic sellers specialise in a service.
