Is Aliexpress dropshipping over saturated & dying?

The first time I heard "Is aliexpress dropshipping is dead " was in July last year.
And since then many people have earned 100s of thousands of dollars.

Maybe someone in the forum will write this same answer in May 2019 to someone asking is aliexpress dropshipping dead.

Yes. Many people are jumping on it but still there is room to be successful if you know the ins and outs of the business.

Maybe those old Instagram tactis are overused and for any newbie it's not going to be easy getting sales with those tactics.
You need to adapt to changes quickly and keep up with industry trends.

People are moving on with Google adwords, Snapchat, Twitter.. there just many other traffic sources you can use.

Just my thoughts here.

What do you think?

It is not dead, it could take you longer and it might be a bit more expensive to run ads as their price was last year but I know that people are making money with it. Now you will have to engage with your customers by writing articles if you are using facebook page, try having unique instagram account and engage with people. Many gurus will tell you go all in make shop with shopify it is easy as hell and put ads and thats it. But in reality it requires a lot of work and thats why many people opt out during first month or so.

If you are really looking into it try it, then you will know your answer. Don't go around and search but simply do it if it works it works, if it doesn't then it is because you screwed something up. If you can continue to execute until you hit your target.

Before you would do drop shipping via amazon/ebay still today you can, now it is ecommerce stores with woo or shopify tomorrow will be something else but basic principle will still be there as there is plenty of opportunity to make money out of this if you know how to. If not experiment and learn.

I will just tell you that if you want to start, start now as tomorrow price on fb ads will simply rise up.

Literally everything today is saturated, if you try the tactics that were done back when people came up with.
However some are still making good $$$ with it. So like most other things, it just depends on your marketing startegy.

You have to carve out your share in the market. Look at DSC for an example :)

it can only be less profitable when people stop buying stuff online.

IMO Aliexpress dropshipping is not going to die anytime soon since there are hundreds and thousands of new products everyday and even if 5% of them sell well, dropshippers have more than what they want.

when chinese sellers learn how to make fb instagram adwords advertising
then dropshipping is dead

They can't and they won't, with dropshipping, they earn alot more money, because of alot of dropshippers, understand this sentence,,, if they do it their own, they will stuck with fb ads, which can't be always running good, and they will have less audience than if dropshippers did and came to them, also with dropshipping they lose no money. they aslso can't sell it higher as more taxes will be applied on them and eventually they will kill their economic industry if they do so, They are not BRANDS

you could say the same about your standard wholesale company if they sold to end user they would make a killing fact is alot of sellers on ali express are making a mint

The basic niches got covered up already, not allow easily new people to spread their stem.

I got out of aliexpress method at around mid 17 itself when competition got crazy.

If your niche is great and hidden then you are optjonal.

Anyway for me its not worth the time investing. Do your math.

lol. Ecom is growing and will keep expanding. FYI, ecom accounts only 3%, it's still in growing phase.

Of course it's not dead? What could be dead? Competition exists and will be harder and harder but dead, I don't think so unless China will add a high export tax or shipping tax or something high enough to cut out our profits. That would be very bad for their economy so probably not going to happen.

Why should it be dying lol, people are still buying stuff online, aren't they? ;)
