Is Aliexpress affiliate worth it?

No. Dropshipping is more worth it :)

Dropship from aliexpress not worth it
Many Chinese dropship from local China site to aliexpress

OP, they pay too low unless you can drive a large amount of traffic. It's useless, plus the conversion rate was poor when I tried it. Not sure for now.

Ya, in recent times, i see lot of bad things about dropshipping.

I thought aliexpress was a good place to start.Low prices both on products and transportation.

It was ok, when aliexpress cookie lifetime was 30d, but now - not worth it. Many other much more profitable solutions exist nowadays

Ya, in recent times, i see lot of bad things about dropshipping.

I did a lot of dropshipping with (AliExpress and Shopify) a few years ago and it worked very well for me.

Then, I started selling white label products (FBA) which turned out to be even more profitable though it requires way more research and advance prep work.

What I eventually found out though is that if you can find a winning product, somehow copy it without getting in trouble, and sell it yourself, you will make a bank.

To further explain, what I meant in the last paragraph, I once copied a very popular piece of apparel by sending product images to Alibaba vendors. By the way, it wasn't an American brand. It was a Chinese apparel brand specializing in just one type of clothing.

They helped me create a very similar product that I listed on Amazon. I kid you not I sold out everything in no time as I was getting 10-20 orders a day. The product price was +/- $25 and my total costs were $12 a piece. I've never re-ordered the product after the original batch was all gone because selling other people's products are unethical and probably illegal, but I learned a valuable lesson from this experience. It is possible to design a product that you can make 50% profit on and it will be in high demand.

To get back to your original question, there are GEOs that do favour AliExpress over Amazon (i.e. Eastern Europe), so if you target them you'll probably have more luck than if you try to promote Ali Express to US population spoiled by Amazon Prime.

That's a solid advice here! I would also give you advice to go for either dropshipping from Aliexpress or Amazon FBA or if you are selling in your local market then go for wholesale strategy

A Big no, even in Dropshipping many of the vendors from Aliexpress ask for Bulk Quantity purchase only.

Good idea. For the seller ask for min order? And do they send it first to you before your forward to buyer?

You'd be better of putting your time and energy elsewhere.

I was just about to type the same thing.

Why be an affiliate when you can double your margins by becoming a dropshipper instead?

No they don't? Almost none of them do. That's what TaoBao and alibaba is for.

+1 on this. I have never had anyone on AliExpress ask me for a bulk order.

The whole purpose of AliExpress is to not have to purchase in bulk.

You can just list products in your store without asking the original seller first. Then, if somebody orders it from you, go to AliExpress to purchase the product and in your notes to the seller (at checkout), write something like "I am dropshipping. Please don't enclose any invoices or receipts."

Alternatively, reach out to the seller in advance to let them know that you will be listing their products in your store and ask for better prices since you'll be investing your time and money in promoting their products. Usually, you can get better deals if you talk to the sellers.

Let's say you've been doing dropshipping for a while you and you were able to identify some products that sell very well. At that point, I'd reach out to the seller to buy their products in bulk. In addition to improving your profit margin, you will be shipping this product domestically with much shorter shipping duration which will help you get more sales.

Note: you know that in order to find quality products and sellers, you need to order products on AliExpress by the number of orders, right ? Also, always check reviews with images. They usually contain a lot of good info about the products' quality.
