Is AI blackhat?

I think ai is just a tool, so it cannot be blackhat. It becomes blackhat when people use it for spam or mass-generated content. Same as any seo tool. Why BHW put ai in the black hat section, that’s a question for BHW))

By that logic, all advanced technology is black hat. AI is just a tool and you can use it for black hat purpose. There are millions of regular users who use AI for other tasks like getting answers, editing photos, seeking advise, etc.

AI is a tool just like other tools it can be used to create a whitehat product or blackhatproduct , it depends upon how you use it .
Not all creators are using AI for "destructive work" , some are using it to generate unique content as well .
Like myself , i don't use it to copy other work but i use it for "creating prototype of my websites" "creating content for the websites" "creating images" and i use it to create processes as well .

Whether AI is considered white hat or black hat depends on the user's purpose. I'm using AI to create websites without needing to learn coding beforehand.

Nah AI isn't blackhat. You can create really good content either written, pictures , videos that are all whitehat. Ultimately AI is a tool and your usage of AI is either blackhat or whitehat.
