Steady publishing matters. Build good links from trusted sites. Also add clear links within your pages. Keep updating your content over time. For SEO, moving slowly usually works better for staying in rankings.

For churn and burn projects, sure but i would makes sure that what ever budget is spent is linked to the deadline since beyond a certain point it does not make senses to tries to rank.
 
Aggressive SEO can work for short-term gains, but it's risky if the tactics are easy for search engines to catch. I've found that focused content, relevant backlinks and steady optimization give more reliable results without sacrificing long-term stability.

For a disposable project you can definitely flood a site with cheap automated links to force a quick traffic spike and cash out before the inevitable penalty hits. But keeping those rankings over the long term is basically impossible.
