Definitely, as long as the domain wasn't abused in the past there shouldn't be any issue with AdSense etc'
Make sure to check the history of the expired domain in archive.org or you can use SpamZilla which will make the process a little bit easier.
Looking at the backlinks is important as well, SpamZilla or SemRush can help you with that.

You can search for expired domains by keywords either on expireddomains dot com for free or paid on SpamZilla which offers you sorting by metrics.\

Edit :
If you are planning on buying SpamZilla subscription, they are offering discounts for the forum members here or you can try and find a group buy.

Yes, Aged/Expired domain can be beneficial for online business , because they already have incoming traffic

whilst it can be beneficial for ad sense and organic link building, i'm not sure there's any benefit for google ads if that's what you mean by PPC

Unless the domain is flagged, its good idea to get aged domain

Sounds like auction domains are better for SEO than PPC. I see high DR domains go for hundreds or more sometimes.

If you dont check on AHREFs or some other tool though that high authority score may mean nothing for SEO too because theres a lot of spammy links related to dick pills and porn sometimes, plus foreign language sites and other weird stuff that would negatively impact your SEO ranking. Ive spent a lot of time on namecheap auctions lately, theyre the better option IMO but theres a lot to look out for and sometimes it doesnt go as expected. I have like 80 domains to build on. Getting those 50+ DR/UR domains is going to cost you. I dont even buy .net or .org.
