is Affiliate marketing with offline payment possible?

Hello everyone, I am currently setting up a marketing campaign for a dental clinic in turkey and would like to use affiliate marketing as a branch for it. Due to the nature of the job though, payments are made off-line and I have no idea how an affiliate marketing campaign can be worked out for such occasion. Does anybody have experience with such a case?

Alternatively I may be paying based on how many people have clicked on the WhatsApp link and went on to have a conversation with us, though I don't know how that would work either as I think it can be easily spoofed

Maybe by not paying with cash, instead by discounts on the clinic.

Good thought but I noticed how that could be an avoided tactic by affiliate marketers as I could just as well give the customer the discount and not pay the marketer a dime. There is no hardwired mechanism like giving the affiliate a discount every time their code is used via a third party etc.

Do you know if this is a used and trusted method in affiliate marketing or have some sort of suggestion as to how we can work it out (via third party apps you know of which we can use for instance)

Pay on a per-sale basis if you are going offline. My friend is using the same method for generator selling, electricians refer customers and they get paid 10% of the profit.

His problem is not how to know if that client is comming from his side
his problem is that they will shave him on sales

create a coupon site and connect a payment aggregator to it in this case
