Is affiliate marketing on reddit still working?

Yes, Reddit can still be helpful for affiliate marketing if you approach it the right way. Reddit users value authenticity and hate spammy or overly promotional posts, so success comes from genuinely engaging with communities and offering helpful content that naturally includes affiliate links. Subreddits have strict rules, and each one has its own vibe, so you’ll need to participate meaningfully before dropping any links.

It works if you do it right. There is no easy money there. But it will always be possible to build full-fledged business processes and get traffic.

Listen
Reddit can still work, but it’s all about trust and subtlety now.
Direct affiliate links get flagged fast—use a landing page or lead magnet instead.
Warm up accounts with genuine posts before promoting.
Niche subs with problem-solving angles convert best if you add real value.

Now these days is very tough to do marketing on reddit. I am suffering badly , my competitor is doing downvote on regular basis.

Reddit can still be helpful for affiliate marketing, but only if you provide genuine value first. Focus on building trust in niche communities, share useful insights, and place links naturally without spamming.

Actually, I see that affiliate marketing can still be done anywhere, now many people do affiliate on threads. The important thing is the platform for you to insert links + content that is stimulating enough, arousing curiosity for people to click on your link.

Yes, it still works if done right. Share value first, build trust, and add links naturally. Reddit hates hard promotion, so stay genuine.

Right now, You need to burn through a lot of money on Reddit to find the starategy that actually works. The profit is down from when I satrted a few years ago.

But, it is going pretty decent, the margin is around 25%

Most of the cost goes to accounts and proxies.
Right now doing $25k/mo in commissions, with approx $6k-$7k/mo profit.

Currently managing over 250+ accounts.
Churn & Burn strategy.
5-10 accounts get banned daily.
Solid numbers, if I may, what type of proxies are you using?

yeah reddit can still work bro but u gotta be subtle n provide value first if u just drop links u get banned fast build some karma join niche subs n help ppl then slide in your link only when it actually fits still one of the best free traffic sources if u do it right

We are neither subtle. nor go for value first approach.

Page 1 reddit posts on Google for high traffic terms - comment on said posts, upvote aggressively with the strongest accounts (5+ year and 10k+ karma). PRINT. We occasionally hyperlink, but typically drop the brand name and ask them to Google us. Works like a charm.

We are still working with casinos, crypto, saas and multiple other niches in such a way on Reddit. Only e-comm is on hold
