Hi people, I’m a high school student and I don’t have much knowledge about computer but I’m willing to learn. Being a student of commerce stream and not having computers as a subject, my mind is very much clouded that whether I should Pursue affiliate marketing or not. Being a student I have very limited funds and I want to invest this money once I’m 100% ready and I’m full of knowledge about affiliate marketing. My friend who is a computer student and a successful affiliate marketer introduced me to affiliate marketing and BHW. I think he’s successful Because he was a student of computers and he was confident but I’m not confident as I’m not very good with computers. So my question is that should I pursue affiliate marketing or not? Are there more people like me who are not computer people but are pursuing affiliate marketing? And if there are people like me, please tell me what is the first step I should do? Learn computer?

Every answer and suggestion is appreciated whether negative or positive

Initially, you can use your smartphone for affiliate marketing; if you do not have money to invest, there is no need to have a website; you can start with YouTube or social media.

You mentioned that you already know everything about affiliate marketing, then there must be no doubts. Just follow the rules of the affiliate programs and do not get into anything spammy.

Simultaneously, take computer classes or learn by yourself from YouTube.

Then once you get some experience and earn good money, you can reinvest it to build a website.

It will surely take a lot of effort and proper dedication, but it is worth it.

You should definitely give it a go and see how things are running. In the beginning, you can invest a smaller amount, and that way you won't be at a high risk of losing. At some point, you could ask your friends that study IT to partner with you and they could make you a site where you would place affiliate offers, but you can start even without it, by directing traffic to social media, although take care to popularize it first and make it desirable for potential clients. Go and find some tutorials, read some blogs, fill in with knowledge and be confident about what you're doing.

There are several ways to monetize traffic. If you don't have any money to invest, you can create social media groups and promote your affiliate link which is relative to the interests of the groups you will create. Another way is to write blogs in websites about the offer/product you will be promoting. Furthermore, you can create a website (you can use WordPress, which costs around $200) and watch YouTube videos to help you build a nice wensite and drive traffic to that website. Additionally, you can use TikTok, which is very popular at the moment.

You can monetize free traffic, which would be more secure financially. Such traffic as from social networks, or your own resource, if you have one.

You should study all the useful information about affiliate marketing and, based on the information obtained, make a conclusion - whether you should do it or not. But even for this you should have at least a basic knowledge of computer technology.
