I just added Adsense to my niche site (or maybe it's really a microniche) since traffic is going up. The ads are just showing up and so far not very on-topic but is it worth it or should I get rid of it and just make more buying-related posts (best x for y)? This site is only around 5-6k visitors/month right now if that makes a difference.

Well the ads you’re are a seeing are most likely related to your cookies. If someone lands on your site because they were researching that topic then they will most likely see related ads.

It's not a lot of traffic especially for adsense, you will probably make more if you promote some offer/product to your audience instead of ads

Put more content related niche if you want to run AdSense too with the affiliate. Otherwise, the affiliate is enough for you.

The ads most likely won’t be related to your content all the time as they depend on previous browsing history, social media, interests and other things of your visitors. Your site could be about pools but the ads about hotels if visitor was looking for a hotel before visiting your site.

these are not enough for adsense add more.

I pulled Adsense for the moment because it sounds like the consensus is to focus more on the affiliate side which I was leaning towards too as I think the Adsense estimate was only like $30/month and it really adds a lot of clutter. I'm going to keep creating money pages so more of the visitors are on pages with affiliate kickback.

Thanks everyone for the opinions!
