so as an average say $7 eCPM, looking at 15x7 a month? Hmm pretty poor still then

It's about balancing it, I limit ads to 4-8 per page and most users have ad blindness anyway. CTR to products has gone up since installing them.

At £14 it's not worth the effort no, but when you've got the traffic it's worth it when we're talking about diversifying revenue streams.

The site I've got right now is struggling because most stockists are sold out or not expecting stock until June July. So I'm just trying to pad out the loss of sales.

It's very much an "it depends" answer I know. But you can a/b test and see if it harms conversion and go from there.
