There's some truth to what you said but Google's content network is contextual in nature so assuming the right pieces are in place: niche / traffic geo-source, there's still room to play.

Yes, Adsense still works. In fact, I monetize my sites with Adsense. But a normal blogger would not be able to earn a full time living from Adsense unless you have at least hundreds of thousands or above a million pageviews in a month. ... Mobile performance is not as good as desktop as regard to Adsense.

Room to play = pennies for dollars. If you put a bit of effort there are much better alternatives.

You need traffic from the country you are targeting. My site is about Philippines. I'm from the Philippines. So the volume of my traffic must be coming from the Philippines

yea you are right , mine bad days just pennies , normal day can reach one bucks , best day can reach 2 bucks that it.

I am willing to pay $ 500 for your website and adsense accounti earn between $2 and $6 per day for a 1,200 more or less unique visitors. i have a very targeted website and Philippines doesn't have that many adsense advertisers, so i wouldn't expect big time money. i can scale the website for sure but i would need people to help me, which i currently don't have
