I remember a few years back I bought 2 domain names including " Facebook " & " Instagram " keywords in the domain name and after few days I got a mail from Facebook that I can't use these domain names because of their copyrights. So my question is, can I add the "FB" keyword in my domain name. Is it allowed? and anyone else done that before?

Note: I need this for a long term project.

No, i don't think so.i had a domain with FB name in past and i got email from Facebook legal team to drop the site and not to renew the domain.

EDIT: Iam talking about "Facebook" as whole. FB i haven't tried but i don't think it will work as well. Not stleast for any authority site.

fb should be fine. My friend has been running a few sites selling facebook goods for a few years now and they all contain "FB".

Better to avoid such thing for long term project.

You do not want to get surprised after putting efforts.

Search for the trademark here. If it doesn't exist, you can register the domain.
Code:
https://www.wipo.int/branddb/en/

Imagine not being able to register a domain because it contains two certain characters togethers, hahaha.
