is a website like this illegal?

Hey..

I was just about to go on a journey in creating a listing website, something like OLX, however I wanted to gear it towards selling accounts, instagram accounts and such. I was wondering if this is illegal? Will I get into trouble somewhere down the line?. (The website acts like a middleman it connects a customer to the seller however does not deal with any selling.)

It's not illegal like you'll be arrested. It is against their ToS to transfer(sell) accounts. But no, it is not against the law.

as mentioned above. instagram or whatever you are gonna sell could try to take down your website. but you wont get in seriour trouble about it.

Thanks! I wouldn't be the one selling anything, I am like a middleman that connects a customer to a person selling an account.

i think you are safe for quite some time , why dont u actually try "instagram" and let us know, if u get a claim or warning just leave it until then rake the cash my friend!
