Is a Video sharing site worth it?

Hello to everyone

i created a video sharing site with the playtube script just for fun. (Private things etc)
Now im thinking to redesign this website for a special niche.
Longterm i want to grow a new community.

What i have:
- Domain
- Host
- Marketing Knowledge

What i need:
- How to monetize it?
In the script are plugins to add some ads to monetize the Site. (But idk how to add it and wich adnetwork is the best)

anyone here who have already a video stream site?
How much traffic do i need to earn about 100$ a month? (Start growin bigger)

which hosting are you using?

I know it's old topic but absolutely not. All you will run into are problems with hosting, bandwidth, DMCA, spammers and low CPM.

Ezoic provides options to monetise video content. You can give that a shot!
