As above, check it is clean, deal with the fact you can never update it and build your site knowing you face this problem.

Actually, most malware in nulled themes are designed to be very discrete to any logged in user.
Also, they likely will not harm your site. They are designed for things like:
- Stealing Passwords, Credit Cards, Email address and other information that could be sold.
- Redirecting some traffic to the attacker's website
- Adding backlinks to the attacker's website on your website
- Using your server space to host static content
- Using your sever CPU for mining

I made sure I checked the theme codes first before installing them and I can say they were clean and no any problem all these years I even simplify some codes to make it a bit lighter and SEO friendly Maybe I'm just lucky to get clean themes since not all of nulled themes have malware.

Unless there's a virus inside, you'll be good. Just keep in mind that if there is an actual virus inside, you're most likely gonna lose everything from your site.

If it's reputable store like gplvault or festinger I think you should be ok.
If it's from sketchy sources you get when you type in google {plugin name} nulled,
then it's very risky.
If you have the money and can afford it best bet would be to buy original plugin/theme.
