I'm very new here, but I'm trying to learn fast. I've signed up for a Clickbank Affiliate account, and I've found a product I think will sell pretty well. I know that I only get paid for people who buy through my link, and I'm debating on how to drive traffic to it. My biggest debate is between offline promotion or online advertising through CList or Twitter and the like. I know right now buying a domain is out because I'm ass broke. So I've set a goal to try to make at least $30 a day. From there, I plan to buy a domain and move along. Is that a reasonable goal, or have I gone nuts by reading all the success stories on here? Thanks for any responses.

dude, try and do cpa offers. even with just a bl0gger page you can get accepted as long as you blow sunshine up their ass. claim to drive tens of thousands of visitors and you willing to spend some cash on adwords.

you can make $30 an hour on cpa if you find something that works. just my 2 cents.

I'm guessing you're going to be using black hat marketing.

You're gonna have to do some offline marketing to get the first little bit of money to buy some hosting and a domain, since you're "ass broke". But after that, then I guess just read some crap on here and start doing it. I'm brand spanking new here and to online marketing so I'm not quite sure what Craigs*list posting how that works, or twitter really, but I'd say those are the ways to go.

CPA is like clicking per action right? Is that just those sites where you put in like your info like zipcode and email for some offer? I thought those networks were like super hard to get into from what I've seen in that forum? If it's not, I'm definitely down to try.

Blackhat, Whitehat, whatever works. I'm not asking questions.

My advice would be to find a traffic source first. Once you've done that, you will just need to be creative and monetize it.

I've gone as far as creating small reports that sell for $5 to monetize "general" traffic and it works fairly well.

Just find something that is proven and run with it. If it is a failed attempt, simply take what you learned from it and continue to move forward.

Get a traffic source. Afterwards, monetize it with CPA. It's very easy once you have people willing to come to your site.

It's even easier with a "content locking" page.

I'll definitely check into CPA. When you say a traffic source, do you mean like a group of people following a website, or like a list of people?

when we say traffic source, we mean users who will look at your site. you want to target certain users. for example, your blog or site is about weight loss. you need to post articles and content related to weight loss. with each article, lead users to a cpa offer such as a diet pill. They pay $5 for shipping, you make $30 - $50 (depending on the network & offer).

simply rip articles and spin them. most articles are already pointing to an aff link anyways, just insert your own aff link in place of theirs. Post 3-5 articles per day, per blog. Takes 10 minutes and your done.

obviously use your own niche. make about 50 blogs about the same niche and move on to another. should take you a day or 2. then you can start with twitter because they will follow you from your blog. totally organic, targeted twitter followers are sweet and convert ;)

You can try CL, but no matter what i post lately, legit or not, it gets flagged. gets fucking annoying. anyways, gl to you.

CPA would be better choice these days but yes it is hard to get accepted into CPA networks.

Try to setup a free blog at blogspot, then linkwheeling ( search on the forum)with other tactics like twitter , myspace facebook etc. You can easy start from 0 and build up.
Remember don't read for hours , but pick somthing a try it.. if it don't work try a new way. Till you find something that's fit you.

$30 a day is pretty reasonable. you just have to read around BHW and find methods that the pros are using or once used, and start with them :)

There's only one thing ;) Self claimed ''pros'' share some methods , but the real Pros keep their mouth shut whatever the situation!
true indeed. but reading around and learning from the "self-proclaimed pros" is the best way to start. only then will you come close to learning the tricks of the "real pros" :)

Very reasonable, just get started. $30 a day = $900 a month =10,800 a year

Get your stuff together (hosting, domain, etc.), get a few CPA accounts, and get started. I would look to start with zip/email submits at first.

Isnt this what bum marketing was invented for? Look it up, it requires zero money investment and can turn a tidy profit.

I agree start with Bum Marketing.

Get a free blog - Blogger
Get you articles - Spin them
Build Your Linkwheel - as many as you can
Join Cpas post links

Rinse and repeat for different niches

Yes, use whatever affiliate program for whatever product, get related articles, unique or not, make linkwheels and bookmark, and you'll have $30 in no time.

Alternatively, you could check Ebay's wanted section or Y!A and direct market. (Where Y!A of course has the advantage of providing good link juice to 3+ word keywords.)

if your just starting out then i guess $30 is reasonable. but if you have over 5000 uniques aday then $30 is far away from reasonable.
