I read a lot of bad comments about 2checkout here, should I be worried?
Are there any money holds or similar problems?
Can anyone share your own experience with 2checkout & dropshipping.

I think @alwaysinvisible have some experience with 2checkout, can you please share some.

I have never had a problem out of 2CO, but then again, I don't use them for dropshipping. So I wouldn't know anything about that.

I guess paypal is only way for dropshippers cuz I've heard that they release funds within 3 days if you provide customers with shipment tracking.

PayPal is the way to go over 2co IMHO, they are getting better as a card processor for sure. Plus you are going to want to offer PP as an option anyway, might as well let them handle cc's as well.

I've just read this article and its really discouraging...

Article creator:

"within 2-3 business days of the buyer receiving the item, PayPal will release the funds to you"

For dropshippers shipping time with epacket is 12-20 days which means that funds might get released 15 days (probably more) after you've received funds... We could just as well wait those 21 days...
Or am I missing something here?

Comments:

"Another lie is the statement about funds being released 3 days after proof that the item has been delivered. They will not release the money until about 5 days have passed unless you call again and wait some more. I do not see how anyone could use drop shipping unless they have plenty of money."

Well this sucks... I'm thinking of just accepting cc in my store with local payment gateway (my banks pg) that doesn't have payment holds.
Or is there some other way? I've spent more time searching for payment gateway than creating my store...

I have never used 2co. I think paypal is your best option here mate, a lot of buyers trust paypl and this is one of the most used paying systems for buying online. Not using it is like shooting yourself in the foot. I have done dropshipping in the past, and most of the time they didn't hold all my funds for so long. Especially if you have a good reputation. But in your situation you might need to pay some money out of your own pockets first. Don't let this discourage you. It will be worth it!

I am dropshipping with 2co

They wanted wholesale dropship agreement from 1 of my suppliers.

1. Lets nor forget that in some countries PP want you to make account in order to pay with your CC while 2co doesnt need account at all... it is just like virtual POS

2. 2co offers my client option to pay via CC or PayPal and after that they process the payment from their PP account to your 2co account.
