Is $250 a day achievable, and how?

Ok, So I've been browsing for a long time just getting a feel of IM for a few weeks, now I believe I have a niche, which i've searched on google, and the keyword receives around 300,000 monthly searches and the competition is low. What does the low competition mean firstly? Is there a small amount of competitors looking to post ads for there site, and is it a good thing? Ok on to the next thing, I wanted to set it up as a kind of ecommerce site so people can buy things, or a type of informative site with articles, what is the best thing for this type of site? PPC, ETC and which sites pay the best. I know there's a lot of you who are more experienced than me just hoped I as a noob could get some guidance to do this right from the get go. Thanks in advance!

JK though, "low competition" on the Google keyword tool is nothing to worry about. That's only for Adwords advertisers.

I have personally had the most success, money wise with Adsense and quality articles. No reason you can't sell stuff and do PPC though. See what works for you dude. Good luck.
 
That's a great plan. Start with Google and get your income dependent on the whims of their updates. On the "inspirations" of their 25yr old nerds. Awesome foundation.

When I was noob I searched around for hours and hours before I start asking any questions. What are you waiting for. Someone to come out and say to you, ok here's how I make $1037 a day. I give you it for free. Work your ass off bro, the answers are out there. Stop asking questions, tell your mum to make you dinner and start working. And when you get tired, work some more.
 
Chose a niche you are comfortable with and have knowledge of and then build your marketing plan. Saying you want to make $250 per day is not a plan but a goal. I don't understand why every newbie approaches this by working backwards.
 
Low competition on keyword tool / planner means that there is not many people bidding on the word. It has nothing to do with the competition in SEO. I normally judge the competition by using intitle:"my keyword", to judge how many sites you are competing against. Then just take a look at the quality of the first few websites.
 
lol where does it say i've started with google? I've merely checked how many times the keyword is searched on google per month which is important whichever path u take ;)
 
gotcha. thanks I was just testing the waters on my keywords, where can I use this intitle btw? Is it the same google keyword planner?

What works for me is checking how many sites on the front page are PR n/a or PR0.

intitle: is a search command, you use it in the Google search. It just roughly gives you an idea of how many sites you are competing against.
 
hundreds of ways exist to make money online, even more than $250; there is blogging, freelancing, emarketing, forex trading, article marketing, affiliate marketing and many more. Some conflict depending on how you do them while others can be merged and to get multiple streams of income. After all is said and done, this is achievable so go for it. all the best as you do this in 2014.
 
$250 a day is achievable. So is $1000 a day, $5000 a day, and so on. All depends on if you can work hard and smart.
 
I know a guy who makes $3000 a day on his low. He makes upwards to $10k a day sometimes. And there are several others that make $1k+ per day.
It's achievable but keep in mind, it will be a lot of work. And it all depends how much work you put in.

Hmm, nobody talks about investments? i.e pending money? Hmm, I wonder why.
 
$250 is very doable but it takes work and a little knowledge. Plenty of methods on the forum that could
realistically allow you to generate this money but not instantly.
