Is 100% AI content still surviving the 2026 Google updates?

Hey BHW,

After the recent Google updates, I am seeing mixed results with AI content. It seems like pure, unedited AI content (like direct ChatGPT copy-paste) is getting de-indexed or penalized much faster now.

What is your experience right now? Are you guys still ranking with raw AI content, or has human-editing become 100% mandatory to survive in 2026? Would love to hear your thoughts!
No AI content doesn't enable you to stay at good rankings. You need to ALWAYS humanize AI content in order to rank and stay ranked well enough.

still surviving fine my end man, but i think the question is a bit off

google isnt detecting AI, its detecting thin. raw chatgpt copy paste dies cause its generic and says nothing, not because some detector flagged it as AI. same article written badly by a human dies too, nobody starts a thread about that one

whats changed is the models got good enough that a proper prompt gets you something readable first try. two years ago you needed heavy editing, nowdays barely any. i run AI content everywhere, tier pages buffers all of it, index rates same as always.. the diference is i actually give the model something to work with instead of "write 1000 words about X"

Don't copy-paste ChatGPT directly. Add a human touch to your article. Mostly important in your content: your content is always informative. The content you are writing should be relevant to your customers. Google ranks this type of content at the top.

From my experience of Seo so far raw Ai content shouldn't be used as Google will de-index and penalize your website nowadays very fast.
So in my opinion you should use some of your own wording and example so that it can be humanized which will keep you away from being penalized.
Aswell as chatgpt or any other doesn't input a new insight which triggers Google so you should edit it once before posting.
