IRISH Newspapers requires payment to link them :D

Lol typical Irish.. and im Irish! Someone's gonna be feeling pretty stupid by the end of the week :P

Google should de-index Ireland and all their sites so they realize WTF they're doing. lol

At first I thought this was a little extreme but now I think it might be what they're going for. Imagine the bill they're going to send to Google for "linking to them" so much.

If they knew that these links are improving their authority and helping them in ranking better, they wouldn't be asking to be paid for the links but rather pay for them.

Yes Irish here.....I can confirm we have our own "special" type of internet.
I am actually long since removed but do business there a lot and you would be aghast at the amount of medium sized companies that still dont even have a website......I ask people with employees for their email address and I get john557@yahoo... ?

The reason for this is that we export talent and some of best web-design and technology people find better paying work overseas.

I placed a blog comment on a web page one day. Hand written---reasonably incisive. And got a very long smart arse email from "The Webmaster" the next day warning me not to engage on his website !

I don't know about Irish in particular. They might all be crazy but they're not the only ones.

I'm in Europe and I can tell you some newspapers in my country are trying to make bigG pay for indexed content under the copyright laws. Different reasoning, same fraking result... everyone laughs at them. To my knowledge, a few more countries in Europe have newspapers trying to achieve the same.

Nothing personal, mate, but do you approve this prank? :d:D

I guess Family guy's pranks are too much sometimes. How about the scene when they landed in Ireland and the airport strip was a see of whisky bottles? :D

But you must be ok with that. Seth MacFarlane jokes are insulting everybody and everything there is...
