Sorry i wasnt too sure where to put this thread but i guessed here would probably be the best place.

Does anybody spam IRC channels and make money or is this something that isnt really done.

I was just thinking about it and thought i would ask.

Also if anyone does do it and it works can you reccommend a program for it

I used to do this like 10 years ago :p

I made ok money but that was doing toolbar installs, you could probably do the same with zango. I don't have a script on me but you can hire a mirc programmer for cheap on scriptlance.com. Just have them make 2 parts to the code, 1 "bot" will sit in the chat rooms and take note of who joins, then that 1st bot will send a private message to your 2nd bot that isn't sitting in any chat rooms. The message can be like "user123 has joined #seo" and then the 2nd bot will send your message to "user123".

With this method you can't be banned as long as you don't use the same ip address for both bots

interesting idea, could possible sign into mirc channels with a domain name as your username and then get the program to log into random channels related to a certain keywords and just leave a high im new to here etc etc post and then leave. You prob wont get banned for that but people that are still in the channel chatting will occasionally see your post and your username and maybe visit the site.
