IPs but not for CL

Hey guys,

I am looking to go through a lot of IPs (dont have to be residential). They will *NOT* be used for CL.

What are your suggestions?
Do Verizon and Sprint cards still work? Whats the speed on releasing/renewing to get a new IP?
Anything besides verizon/sprint?

Again, this is *NOT* for CL.

There are a lot of options, Verizion cards are one, RDSL is another, proxies too (that can be refreshed/renewed)

The proxy section might be of better help than the CL section :D
 
How many do you consider 'a lot'?

I once had a really fat friend that didn't consider eating a whole pie himself to be a lot. :)

Thanks for the suggestions! Proxies won't work since I need thousands of fresh and reliable IPs per day. I should also mention that my budget for this is not an issue.

Regarding the verizon cards, do you have experience with that? Is there a specific model you recommend? How much time do you lose releasing/renewing connections?

Lastly, I am not familiar with RDSL - could you elaborate? Is this like ADSL?

ive used all types of aircards,

vzw
sprint
at&t all work well (at&t seems to connect and diconnect the fastest in my opinion)

ive heard cricket has gone nationwide, even possible some good ips on there for a few weeks

t-mob sucks

virgin mob works but im not sure exactly how the dataplan works its a prepaid more data u use more it costs

not sure how big they are yet, but i have a few Clear cards floating around i need to collect and return, if u have clear, its 2 aircards for 50 bucks, take the rental option for the equipment 5-6 bucks a month plus data, save the box, return it whenever u want no fee.
i still have 6 aircards i use them everyday on different tasks, desktop macros and whatnots to connect disconnect other apps build in auto

If you don't need dedicated IPs you might also want to take a look at proxycollective.com, tor and cloakfish
You didn't exactly tell much about what you do so it's kinda hard to suggest an appropriate solution.
 
I should have asked more questions :)

The last post mentioned something that is good to consider TOR. A good TOR box can feed you with tons of IPs. HOWEVER, that brings me to the next question. Where do these IPs need to be located?

Do you need them to be in a specific geo region? Or are you looking to just use and IP from anywhere you can?

The TOR option is good if you can consider outside the US (mainly germany), but not so strong within the US.

As for thousands of 'fresh and reliable', I guess you need decent speed, but I am not entirely clear on 'fresh'. An IP is never fresh :). No more virgins in them pastures. :) So I guess we need to know what fresh means to you. Since they are not for CL, it is likely that they need to be fresh for some other purpose, to the turn of 'daily'. If you need 1000 a day, does that mean you can use 1000 day one, another 1000 day two, then cycle back to the first 1000 day three?
 
I need about 5,000 IPs within a span of 3 days. The IPs should be US based but no biggie if they're foreign. Lastly, they should be reliable in that the service should provide non-dupes as the script needs them. Dupe ips wont work.

In my experience for this project: Tor was too slow and Proxies were unreliable.

Is there a specific Sprint 3G card you recommend?

Well for me to explain would take up way too much space. You can do this but its either going to cost money or time. Pm me with your sinserist interest and im will help. Another bhw contribution.

I would caution against using DSLs as your IP source if you need new IPs everyday/everytime.

5000 / 3 days = approx 1700 a day.

When you refresh the connections, you get a new IP, but you also are likely to get the same one when you are talking about the kind of frequency you are talking about.

The odds aren't good, esp with the number of DSL providers available out there.

I guess it really depends how important every single IP being new each day is.

I think you need to look for a more static source, or possibly one where you can have more control over the IP pool being used.

All that said, I sadly don't know who can provide you 1700 cycling IPs every 3rd day give or take with that criteria, unless you were willing to go with a proxy solution at about $10k a month where you will have full control over it. Is price still not an issue? :)

Both were mentioned in this thread....HOWEVER, I have tried to contact both of them and they have not gotten back to me. PM'd as well.

Is anyone still using remote-dsl.com or wireworks.com ??
