IPs are about to RUN OUT!!!

So we wake up and find all the ips IPv6 ? :p no fluctuation in prices when buying dedicated ips? all our websites will work for new IPv6 users ? :/ hmm

You'll still be able to use IPv4 addresses for time to come. They will just be harder to find. And IPv6 addresses will be a lot cheaper because it's practically inexhaustible. Already, some hosting providers are providing them for free with virtual and/or dedicated servers. Cannot foretell how it will be in the future, but it definitely doesn't seem like an apocalypse.

Addresses don't run out, we are constantly rotating, servers that buy 1000 ips and spam on them will quickly rotate to another set.
No one registered new ip addresses anymore and its been this way for 10 years.
 
Remember Y2K? Do you feel embarrassed now for starting this thread?

Y2K was a serious concern. Nothing major happened because allot of engineers predicted it and fixed most of the problems a couple of years beforehand. They also made a shit tone of money while they did it.
