So i have the need to have IP addresses in other states other than the one i live in. I have an IP changer for free but it does not allow me to pull ips from other states, only ones that my local ISP can provide, i was wondering if IPrental or any other IP changing software has that capability to change every minute or so and be able to specify the ip that you want or region that you want.

Maybe take a look at Cloakfish if you just need many states/cities selectable.
The performance is not the highest (not good for high bandwidth applications) but the available IP pool is pretty large and dynamic.

Normal "public" proxies will also allow you to choose from many states, that's the cheapest option you can go (but also the one eating a lot of your precious time).
There are many threads here that go deeper into public proxies (how to find and test em)

As Justone suggested I would wish you go that route first with the 1$ demo ip. I tried it out over the weekend and I didn't have much luck although the blame was on my dial-up connection. They said something to do with latency although taking it with a pinch of salt.

I use IP rental, you can change your IP every 2 minutes and you can choose from west, central, or east coast. Its not the fastest proxy I've used but its better than most junk out there.

u should seriously consider a dialup acct. very very cheap and you can get just about any city you want.

Dial up account like magic jack or something? I have a program on my computer where i can change my IP address at will but even though i get a new IP address and pick the IP i do a what-is-my-ip-dot-com and do a look up and it still registers me in the state i live in, which is no help. While yea its nice to be able to change it, but its not enough. If you could elaborate more detail to the dial up acct could be beneficial, other software seems a bit more complicated than what im acustomed to.

no, i'm talking actual old-fashioned dialup. get a city access #, use a telephone modem to dial out & connect. then it should reg you in that city with a unique IP. i know some guys have been using this for CL posting with some success. I'm not gonna out their isp's though. if you're using for cl i was told to "think small" as most of the well-known isps are already softblocked.
