    For those with a jailbroken Ipod / Iphone, do you know the source for winterboard? I had to delete all the sources for cydia with ssh as it was not opening at all, and now it works, but winterboard is not there.

    If anyone knows how to get it back, let me know please.

    Btw, there was an update to make it stable with 3.0, correct?

    lol maybe this is more suitable for an ipod forum, but this is the lounge so hopefully no one gets mad at me for posting this here.

    But seriously, maybe you should check iphonefans;
    Code:

    I think if you need iphone help, a fan forum would probably be the best place to look.

    Re-jailbreak your iDevice. Winterboard is developed by Saurik, the creator of Cyida and comes with it!

    On another note I don't reccomend using themes, it slows your phone down.

    Here how about this, does anyone know the original sources for cydia? That's what I need since I deleted them all in order to make it work again (the original plus the ones I added).

    Thanks

    Here is what I need,
    /private/etc/apt/sources.list.d/saurik.list

    Didn't realize I was supposed to keep that file and deleted it as well.

    Hmm actually it appears that the file from their site is outdated, as many of the files that are supposed to come with cydia, still don't work (many themes released to them).

    If anyone has an updated version that I can test to see if that is the problem, it would be appreciated.

    I couldn't find a later release.
    This is actually the original release of the file;
    Code:
    # do not edit this file to add your own custom sources
    # this file is subject to be upgraded as part of a package
    # either add your own .list file to /etc/apt/sources.list.d
    # or add your entry to the global /etc/apt/sources.list file

    deb http://apt.saurik.com/ tangelo main
    #deb-src http://apt.saurik.com/ tangelo main

    But maybe you can contact them to see if they can resolve your issue.

    If anyone who has an updated version of cydia is feeling generous, you can use disk aid to easily get the file out over usb :)

    Lol it would be greatly appreciated if anyone does

    Download the rock installer if you can... And then from there Delete Cydia. From there re-install the latest version of Cydia and everything should work fine

    Not sure I can do that as I don't have the source, and its messed up to the point where http://apt.modmyi.com is not working as a source for me.

    Why don't you restore the firmware and re-jail break?

    Because I would prefer not to lose all my apps, music, videos ,etc and I don't currently have my itunes library on a functional comp since I lent out some parts to my friend...

    wtf...k so I backed everything up, and did a restore / re-jailbreak, but now my cydia has no sources at all? Like not even the original ones...it's even more messed up than before, theres nothing the sections area.

    I used redsnow 0.8 and 0.9 btw (tried it twice).
