possibly. i have other iphone domains though and no issues yet. I think apple would only go after it if it's used.
 
I own the domain ipadsoftware dottorg and apple approved me as an affilate for the itunes program. They have not said anything to me about the name. I also own iphone5jailbreaker dottcom, ipad3battery dottcom, also for googles tablet nexus7apps dottcom and microsofts tablet surface-software dotcomm.I havent developed any of them yet though,

I iTunes affiliate might be a good idea. What are you doing for the site?
 
Depends on what you are doing with the domain name/website. It's good for SEO purposes, so if you can rank it in the top 5 it's worth a lot. I don't think Apple need a iphone5app.com domain name...
 
Apple have the right to seize the domain name at any time they please (if it's used). Whether they'll actually do it or not is another question, but in your case (wanting to know the value of the domain name) it is irrelevant as buyers aren't willing to pay much for domains that infringe copyright.

In short - you're lucky to get regfee for the domain so I suggest you to either just leave it or alternatively develop it into something (and risk it being taken away from you at one point).
 
As people have mentioned above the value ranges from 0 - reg free because who the domain name is associated with.
 
plus you cant expect a site like this to be a huge moneymaker. copyright infringement is also against tos of adsense and other ad networks
 
It's more of a liability than an asset as it poses risks.
 
I signed up also with regnow dottcom they have an affiliate program to sell apple software. So i was wanting to place itunes on there are well.
 
why would they leave it be? its like their daring you to do something with it so they can take it

I dont think you will get a lawsuit for domain infringement if you are Okay to give them the domain name.

I had few EMDs of *Michelin* they simply mailed me and took the domains :P
