But why would you pay top dollar for an inferior product, when you can have alternatives with better specs for cheaper? Just for the brand name? That's what the sheeple do.

I'd probably buy it for the cool factor, but I'm quite happy with my 6s which has a headphone jack that lets me go on long calls while the phone is charging.

after having multiple macbooks, macbooks pro, iphones and ipads I know one thing about apple - its about design and feeling about minimalism and joy of usage they build not a smart gadget with good processor they are building a good feeling to use that thing and after using it to buy another one and this is much higher level then some kids gamers talks about "how much ram" my phone have "how much megapixels my camera" and as you say "better specs and cheaper" - price is nothing money and making money is just an idea, and specs are nothing because in this modern world additional rams or some specs are not so important as good feeling.. Ford mustang is with 300kw engine, much more space inside and is much cheaper then porsche 911 with 265kw and 3x higher price - but its about a feeling to use it not about specs on paper...But why would you pay top dollar for an inferior product, when you can have alternatives with better specs for cheaper? Just for the brand name? That's what the sheeple do.

Yea, that's a subjective opinion. If you ask the non-Apple believers, they will say the same things of their choice of device, plus they will have the upper hand because of an altogether better package at a lower price point. The only difference is that they don't surrender to marketing gimmicks, don't care about superficial things and appearance as much. Because let's face it, most Apple buyers buy those gadgets to show off, nothing else. There's no logical explanation to buy something for more, when you can have better alternatives for cheaper. This is consumerism at its finest.
Apple was a leader in innovation and design for long years, but for a good few years now they produce dime a dozen stuff for artificially inflated prices. The only thing that they have going for them now is the "cool factor" and they're riding this wave in lack of a better idea.

Overpriced crapple....get an Android for 1/4 the price get 3x the functionality, access to 300+x more apps and comparable (or better) processor speeds....I would never buy apple's elitist shite - you're paying for a name and for the privilige of being limited

As a long time, certified and awarded Apple hater.. I started following the hype of the new iPhone, about 2-3 weeks ago, keeping my eye on leaks and news like a dirty pervert from the bushes. So over those 2-3 weeks I learned A LOT about Apple, iPhones and other shit they sell. What I realized is that 99% of Apple haters are just poor (probably) Android fanboys who started hating on Apple because of the price of their products. Shit, I have been an Android fanboy for quite some time and I have felt the same way as all haters, but this time it's a bit different. What I have noticed is a lot of small things that make Apple products.. well, Apple products. Their attention to details is just amazing.
People are saying that Apple's products (including MacOS, iOS, etc..) just look good and don't offer much power, and joke about not being able to game on their products (I know it because I joked about same things). But what an average, poor, android fanboy doesn't understand is that Apple is not focused on gaming. Macs are mostly targeted to creative people (obviously) or people who use their laptops for work. You don't need a 1080 in a work machine. Instead of raw power you get awesome build quality and an awesome operating system which is greatly optimized for it's hardware. On the phones category.. iPhone 8 shits on S8, it's that easy, just look at the specs. For me, looks is as important as specs.. and there's no denying that Apple products look ridiculously beautiful.
Yes, some people have a real reason to hate specific Apple products, but most of the haters can't just look past the price. Hating on something blindly is just retarded and posting it online just makes you look dumb af.
So the goal of this post was to educate blind haters to look a bit further.. Maybe there's a reason for that kind of price tag
