Good morning guys
I have asked this before but answers just didnt work for Iphone .
My question today is , is it really possible to track the location of a Iphone just by knowing the number ? I got ripped of by a guy on instagram that said he could but the location was like 2000 kms away , never mind I learned a lesson .so was he just after my money or he just wasnt the right person for the job ??

This is a very profitable niche, so lesson for sure.

If you want to track anybody, you'll have to get the very same version of his mobile OS and model, create/test app, install it (hidden) in the victim's phone and leave a backdoor for the OS update and ran track smoothly.


I had a debate few times, people are (obviously) interested how safe any mobile brand is, from brand itself.

In my theory, it is so easy to implement a piece of hidden micro app that cannot be decrypted never ever, and use it to transfer user data in a very very low amount, every time user device is connected to the network.

Ok so really cant be tracked unless you have a access to their phone in the first place , I know police cant use the towers here in Australia to track the area but I have no access to the phone only the number and the IMEI of the I PHONE .

When you say installed on the phone do you mean actually installed or do it by calling the number and they answer etc ???
 
If your mobile device is lost or stolen, the only way is to alarm police and provide em IMEI.

Mobile number means nothing, and if you can't get police assistance you need to find someone who can perform this. (police often don't care to help with this)

You should talk in person, and make sure it's not some kind of scam.


How to know? Well, stand next to a person and watch at what he is doing, or propose him to stay around, because you was scammed before.

Read from his reactions, but 99% almost everyone will attempt to scam you even in person. Do not use internet for this service at all, fake fake fake.

Thank you for your honesty , Yeah I thought so , I was told he can track the location , its not my phone I am after , I am after the location of a certain person by using the phone . You are right so many ppl will scam you when they know you are desparate . Thank you for your replies .

Do you still need help with someone's phone tracking using their number? If yes, you can use an iPhone spy or parental control app. Some of them are for free and will help you to monitor everything you want. if you have find my app installed then only you can find. there are few apps in the market however those have monthly subscriptions.
 
For Iphone user,I wish to enable built in features like Find my iphone option.
 
Yes, this is possible now. There are search engines that could find your location based from your phone number.
