Hello,

Anyone here has experienced video quality of canon 650d/600d or nikon d3100. I do photography and video making as hobby. I want a dslr that can make good video as well, d3100 is not good at it, but i have been told canon 600d/650d are good for videos as well. I wanna buy an iphone 6 as well but budget is tight so can only buy a 6 or dslr camera.

i make short videos, just want to ask is iphone 6 camera capable of making videos as good as these Dslr.

Any help would be appreciated,
regards

You would probably be better off asking on a photography forum mate. The chances of someone owning both and being able to give you their honest review here is probably slim.

The chances of the exact person who might know the difference actually being online / seeing this thread / willing to comment on it is even slimmer.

Are you seriously comparing a dslr with a shitty phone camera ?
Forget about specs, think of this... the iPhone is a phone, you have lots of apps and stuff and a camera that films at 1080p.
Then you have a gadget 10 time as big that only take photos and films which one is better.

If that's so why does every pro photographer (like yourself) use a DEDICATE device ?

seriously dude ?? you are comparing the incomparable !!
if you are doing photography then iphone or any other phone is not what you are looking for (if you are talking about professional stuff)

I'm just looking for a device that can make good video.. Most budget dSLRs cant make good quality video (despite giving excellent photo quality), and videos show iPhone6 has an excellent video making ability..
That's what I wanted to ask that if anyone experienced both.. or any help..

I apologise, if that didn't make sense or I posted in wrong section.
Regards

If you get a samsung device you can record in 4K and then down size it to make it real 1080p(4:4:4) instead of the 4:2:0 1080p that devices that record in 1080p can do

You are comparing Soviet Union car with a Lambo.

Size does matter (facepalm)

the iphone camera is designed to be good enough...obviously it won't match up to a dedicated product
