I recently went thru a bad relationship that ended in an even worse breakup. And I screwed myself over with some bills that are in my name that he paid because he wanted the services but didn't have a clean credit history to do so in his own name. Now I'm stuck with the balance of those bills and I cant do anything about but pay them off or risk getting bad credit myself (lesson learned). His iPhone 5s that he already had before we were a couple, went missing the same night of our breakup but he is certain it was when he was out with friends. So he reported it stolen.
Yes a small part of me feels like a complete asshole because I know its wrong, but most of me feels better that I at least got some kind of revenge.
Anyways, I don't want to use it as a cell phone, I only want to give it to my daughter to use as an iPod. I took the sim out and destroyed it right away. But the phone is password protected so the only thing I can do is turn it on and then I get the password screen. Is there anyway to completely wipe the phone and just use it as an iPod? Is that possible or should I just smash it with a hammer because its completely useless now?
