of course i didn't, i only know of real phones.. jokes aside, i don't think HTC can ever come close to iphone. Just my opinion.
this is the problem with most people. They buy things because they believe it's the "popular" ones.
I never understand why people care about HTC compared to iphone in terms of (let's say) sales. Who cares if Apple sales surpass anything else? I mean do you even own 1% of apple shares? A phone is a phone. you buy it because you want it and you feel it's the best phone for your needs and that's it. Why care so much about their results in competition? For many people HTC One already surpassed iphone 5 because of bigger screen, more open OS (so you can explore and copy+paste files at ease), a bit refreshed product with blinkfeed, etc. etc.
of course eventually it comes to personal choice and I totally understand if iPhone 5 for a lot of people is a better choice than HTC One. but again, if you believe iphone is superior to HTC One only because it's a more popular choice among average users then you are totally BS. If you believe phone A is better than phone B you need to state obvious reasons, the technical reasons why you choose it over any other phone. If you buy things just because it's the most popular thing right now, I dont know what to say.
personally now I own a Lumia 920. I used to love android and still do (i also had a iPhone 4S in the past) but I need Lumia because it provides great offline mapping/navigation experience and nothing in android/iOS ever come close to it. Just name it, Sygic, Navigon, Be-on-road, Navigator, Google Maps, I tried them all.
Objectively, I think android still the best option for now but for regular traveler like me Lumia/WP has more useful features.
