Do you believe that money brings happiness?
Yes
Tell that to all the millionaires who committed suicide.
Why do I need to justify that?
Maybe in retrospect tell me,
in comparison, how many poor folks committed suicide because they can't just keep on living because of the pile up bills, work all day for a paycheck, just to spend it on expenses? Life not worth living...
How many poor people can actually get access to meds, surgery or the healthcare they actually need?
How many poor people can actually travel and take a break?
How many poor people can actually gain access to the education of their dreams job instead of side stepping because they can't afford the tuition or their living conditions just simply don't allow it?
Money is a huge bottleneck in people's happiness and a major cause of stress
now imagine this, real story
A company got an minimum wage employee salary wrong.
That same employee lives paycheck for paycheck, single parent, 2 kids. Feels like hell on earth, they are already struggling.
Last thing they need is no money coming in that month.
Company policies, correction period in 2 weeks, they will get paid the missing amount in 2 weeks.
Now that 2 weeks, they are struggling paying off the bills, a even tighter budget for food, asking for friends and family to borrow money.
Just to survive those 2 weeks.
Now tell me, could having more money make that employee situation better? Possibly happy? hell yes
They broke down in tears of joy when a co-worker helped them out with $$
