Ios 17.7 has no new features (boring) it is just a security update with bug fixes.

Ios 18 tho!!!
New control centre, customisable home pages, new imessage features/emoji stuff and text customisations, redesigned photo album app, you can lock apps with face id, new password app to manage passwords, distraction control in safari to edit elements displayed on sites and a new game mode.

Only issue is usually when new ios comes out they have a lot of issues at the start so might be best to wait, but me personally waiting for it to update now because I have 0 patience.

Well, if you really insist, I could send you pictures (proof videos made later) of the Samsung phones and tablets (!) that exploded here.

It was not even allowed to be on board of a plane with a certain Samsung mobile a few hours ago, due to the known explosion risk.

Not Samsung fan either. I had an Ipod with exploding battery (they changed it, but still).
