ipage is a very good and cheap hosting compay, $1 a year is good if you don't use resources

i used their 1$ per year promo last year.. and it's good for having your website up and running.. though not good if you need a lot of resources..

even i was thinking to switch to ipage before few months due to their cheap prices but read some reviews that if you need more resources than ipage isn't a good choice!

Anybody using iPage for running atleast 10 wordpress blogs?!

They sucks BIG time. This don't worth $1 if you have good sites.

I have bad experience wirh iPage. Page load speed was terrible, but for 1$ you can test it yourself.

I've had them for about 9 months, everything installed great (switched over from a known provider that couldn't get my non wordpress sites up), and I haven't had any problems. But yeah, I just have plain sites with wordpress and another cms and I don't use much resources.

HTH

Jenny

I just signed up for another account. Thanks

Worked like charm for me...used a VCC and it worked great. Now I don't have to worry for the renewal either ;)

What do you all mean by 'no reseources' ??

I want to build micro niche sites .. Will this do? All will be wordpress based

tried the code just this hour.. still working..
you can use MNS on ipage..

What do you all mean by 'no reseources' ??

It's not good for stuff like wprobot, something that runs on cron jobs all the time querying the database all the time, millions of visitors, heavy use of databases. It's been good for me with regular sites with average traffic.

Jenny

It says it has unlimited bandwidth .. Is that a porky pie?

Would you say it is sufficient to hold around 10 MNS??

I've never used it! Butn I dont think it will be a great hosting, but anyway, thank you for sharing, also, I have a question, how much cost renew it when the year get finish?

I just registered. Expires Sept 6, so do it fast if you need to.

How many static/easy Wordpress blogs do you guys think it can handle?

Damn, the fatcow one is usually $56 a year, and I think I paid $6.95 a month for the ipage one. I paid for a year so I don't remember. When that one runs out, I'll transfer all my domains to the one I just signed up for.

It's fine for lots of wp sites

Trying it an dgetting some issues adding domains .

Is it for me or for all ?

Using this first time :D
