is it different to own an ipad domain from iphone and other apple products? cause ive had an iphone .com domain since 2007 without any problems and it's registred @ godaddy i think, so i dont think there is any problems owning this domain at all.. i dont see how this domain can be worth $5k tho

I have it listed at that, look at other iPad domains...why $500 if everyone else says $5000?

considering http://www.ipad3g.com couldn't even sell for $2000. $500 might be the most you can get right now.
But you really should have held off until the iPad is being sold in stores and other websites before putting it up for sale. You might be able to sell for more once the iPad starts being available to the public.

I'm an idiot? Ok. Do you not realize that the G stands for generation? Meaning that the first iPad to come out will be the 1G iPad, the only idiot here is the OP who thinks he's going to get anything over $100 for such a worthless domain name. And if he was indeed referring to the technology than he is even more of an idiot seeing as how the 1G iPad will be released wit the 4G technology, so he loses on both accounts.
Whoever is going to buy this domain is a moron. He/she will lose the domain to Apple. The same happened to http://www.modmyiphone.com and http://www.everythingiphone.com .They were forced to change their domains to http://www.modmyi.com and http://www.everythingicafe.com, simply because iPhone is copyrighted. Same will happen with this domain or any other ones that include the word "iPad"
