Hello, a friend of mine is looking for an I.P. to I.P. messaging app that works. Any recommendations? I apologize if I posted in the wrong forum, I searched for IP to IP and turned up no results.

All these apps use the netsend command to send messages, this was new 5 years ago.. not effective now.. don't waste your time with it.

And btw you can only send messages to win 2k and above who have the messenger service turned on.

I think there is not difficult to find a good messenger system, try on freshmeat or sourceforge, there is a lot of open projects, just search on the extensive database and then try to find the proper project, good luck!

Haha I made my teacher think there was a dead woman in his pc trying to talk with him good ol' net send. How I send my brother messages like "I'm watching you masturbate" and freaked out, later found out he was really doing that at that moment.

But these day's in a office network you can still telnet into most smtp's and send people spoofed mails. Those things you miss working at home.
